Privacy Policy

This explains what Plughouse Logistics collects through this website and its dispatch software, and how it is used.
What we collect
When you request a quote we collect your name, company, email, phone number, pickup and drop-off details, and anything you add, such as a call sheet or notes. When we move a load we keep the job details, delivery signatures and photos, and invoices. Our team and drivers have accounts or private links that record the updates they make.
How we use it
We use this information to quote and carry out moves, send updates, invoice, keep required business records, and protect our systems. We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Who handles it for us
We use service providers to run the business: Vercel hosts this site, Neon stores our database, and email and phone notification services deliver messages. If our accounting is connected, invoice and payment details, including customer names and email addresses, are sent to QuickBooks Online by Intuit. These providers only handle the information needed for their service. We may also share information when the law requires it.
Tracking pages
Anyone with a load reference can see its status, general locations, equipment and the driver's first name. Keep your reference private if you don't want others to see this.
Keeping and removing information
We keep records for as long as we need them to run the business and meet legal, tax and insurance duties. To ask what we hold about you, or to correct or delete it, email ronn@plughouselogistics.com. California residents can use this same address to exercise their privacy rights, and we won't treat you differently for doing so.
Do Not Track
We do not run advertising trackers here. This site does not change what it does when your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, because there is no tracking for those signals to turn off.
Security
We use encryption in transit, private storage, and Face ID or fingerprint sign-in for staff. No system is perfectly secure, so please tell us right away if you think something is wrong.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do. Questions go to ronn@plughouselogistics.com.
